We Desire to Reflect Christ's Love by Ministering to Families of Children with Special Needs
“When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” - Luke 14:12-14
Our goal is to ensure you have the encouragement and support you need to fully participate in the life of Crossway. We seek to do so by providing a buddy system for Children's Ministry on Sundays as well as a quarterly respite night.
We can't wait to meet your child!
Buddy-Up enables kids with special needs (ages 1-12) to participate with their peers in Children's Ministry classes on Sunday mornings by providing a 1:1 buddy who supports, helps, and encourages them. Our hope is to lovingly care for your child so that you may participate in worship and listen to God's Word preached during our service. To learn more about what we have planned for all of the children on a Sunday morning, view the Children's Ministry page.
Plan a Visit
Please contact our Children's Ministry coordinator, Julie Moore, prior to your visit so she will be expecting you and your child. She will match a buddy to befriend and help care for your little one.
R&R Night, which stands for refresh and renew, allows parents (or caregivers) of special needs children some much needed time off—free of charge. R&R Night takes place on a Saturday evening from 6-9 PM. We plan engaging and enjoyable activities for each child suited for their needs. Dinner is provided. Siblings are also welcome to participate. As we care for your children, we hope you will be refreshed in your spirit and renewed in your relationship with your spouse.
Next R&R Night:
February 10, 2018
Upcoming R&R Nights: April 28, 2018
Registration for the February R&R Night is now full. Thank you for your interest.
